Every Friday is Pizza Friday at school for my son, but not yet for his little sister who?is, well, still too little. But today I decided that?I would give her her own pizza Friday too. I was in luck since I had a couple of ingredients in my fridge that could easily and quickly do the trick:
A pie crust, some tomato sauce, ham, and 1/2 bag of mexican blend cheese : )
If I were to actually go get the ingredients I would have probably chosen a pizza dough and mozzarella instead, but they actually came out really yummy!

Next time I will try to use new fillings ? spinach, mushrooms, maybe caramelized shallots?

Good for lunch boxes?Yes!

How it's made
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, mix the tomato sauce, salt and oregano. Slice the ham in little squares.
  2. Sprinkle a little flour over your workspace and roll out the dough just enough to make it a little thinner. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce. Follow with ham, and top it off with the cheese.
  3. Roll it up into a log, and gently slice the log into 12 pieces using a serrated knife. To avoid the roll falling apart, you want the knife to do the work and not your strength.
  4. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment, and bake them on the middle rack of your oven for about 25-30mn.
